-Dried fruit packing house in Edenvale, eight miles south of San Jose along the S.P. railroad tracks to Los Angeles.  The packing company appears to have been part of the Hayes family businesses; the family is better known as the former publishers of the San Jose Mercury News.  The plant went through a couple hands, but eventually sold in the 'teens to [[Richmond Chase]].
