The Presto Fruit Company was a Hayward canner specializing in canned prunes[1].
Presto Fruit bought fruit from the Morrell ranch in the Santa Cruz Mountains during the 1907 season. The fruit had been the subject of a fight between Morrell and the San Tomas Drying Company[2].
