A.Paul Marston, the namesake, lived on Winchester Blvd (Santa Clara and Los Gatos Road) in 1913, Saratoga Ave. in 1918 according to a 1918 San Jose City Directory. (A 1911 city directory showed him on the Los Gatos Road "two south of Moorpark Ave." with a residence at 295 Orchard[2]. 1926 showed him on Union Ave. 1933 showed him on a Los Gatos rural route. 1920 census showed him as "operator, fruit farm". Mr. Marston was also involved with the Dee-Hi Food Products Company as director in the early 1920's.
