Major cannery specializing in asparagus. Run by Thomas Foon Chew, taken over from Precita Canning Company (San Francisco) run by his father until the 1906 Earthquake and Fire. The cannery closed in 1936.

Details
3rd largest cannery. Closed in 1936 after Thomas died in 1931. Started in tomatoes, eventually became famous because of asparagus. See also Union Warehouse and Docks 1922 distributor Walter M. Field & Company
