Holland-American Fruit Company was a Dutch company run by L.C. Lens, focused on canneries in California for exclusive sales to Europe. The March 10, 1896 Hanford Journal noted Lens's study of Kings County as a potential site[1].
The company was sold to Vlessing in January 1922 after building what became the United States Products cannery in San Jose.
