The Santa Clara Pear Association was a fresh pear grower cooperative, founded in 1928. A 1935 label shows them associated with the California Fruit Exchange.
One early organizer was Harold Bowers[1]Edgar Jackson was the manager in 1939[2]. Eiichi Edward Sakauye, another director of the organization, did an oral history interview discussing the association[3]
The president of the cooperative in 1935 was N. L. Meads[4]
