B. Moceo
B. Moceo was a vegetable packer and shipper run by by Ben Moceo. Moceo had formerly a buyer for the Greco Canning Company. A Southern Pacific 1931 Siding List shows the company operating from a packing shed on San Pedro Street near Ryland Street in San Jose. In 1932, the company employed 50 people as it packed peas fresh peas for sales on the east coast[1].
Moceo had also lived in Santa Cruz for a few years where he was the general manager of the Santa Cruz Artichoke and Sprout Growers Association. Moceo died in 1941[2].
