United Canneries was a Southern California canner that expanded into Oakland in the early 1920's. Its owner was A.C. Harvey, the owner of Southern California Canneries in Ontario, CA[1]. The company was bought by Virden Packing in 1922[2]. The Oakland cannery supposedly had a 200 x 400 foot warehouse.

The company was sued in 1922 by a fruit buyer who claimed he had gathered long-term (ten year) contracts with growers[3]
