J.E. Abbott was a dried fruit packer on the west side of the Santa Clara Valley (modern Saratoga and Campbell.)
Abbott was listed in 1888 as a Saratoga grape grower[1]. His packing house was a drop off location for the California Cured Fruit Association in 1900.
