Golden State Asparagus Company was California-based canner founded in 1901[1] Two of the company's canneries were on Andrus and Sherman islands in the Sacramento delta[2].

The company was in receivership by 1937<ref>Rothstein vs. Edwards, 94 F. 2nd 488(1937), 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, November 27, 1937.
