F. E. Booth was a cannery in Centerville, California, primarily canning tomatoes and fruit juices[1]. The company was founded by Frank E. Booth, who had been an early sardine canner in Monterey. The cannery was started in 1917[2], with its plant about two miles northeast of Newark on the Western Pacific Railroad[3]. The company also had a plant at Pittsburg, California<refMany Canneries Receive Licenses>California Department of Public Health Weekly Bulletin, January 23, 1926 </ref> The company lasted into the 1930's as a tomato canner[4]. The cannery building itself burned in November 1959.
