New cannery supposedly under construction in July, 1930 on Berryessa Road. A later article on August 7, 1930 points out that the plant would be processing horse meat. George F. Cokely, "head of the plant", was buying 500 head of mustangs in Oregon to start the plant off. No knowledge whether it ever really opened.
