Summary
Dried fruit packing house in Edenvale, eight miles south of San Jose along the S.P. railroad tracks to Los Angeles. The packing company appears to have been part of the Hayes family businesses; the family is better known as the former publishers of the San Jose Mercury News. The plant went through a couple hands, but eventually sold in the 'teens to [Richmond Chase].
The plant finally burned down in 1952.

June 25, 1903 San Jose Evening News "The brick walls of the Edenvale Packing company's establishment have been erected and the sidetrack of the warehouse has been completed." This is one of two plants being built in the season, according to the paper.
