The Decoto Canning Company was a canner in Decoto (Fremont), California. Their cannery was along the railroad tracks between H and I streets.
The plant was built in 1919[1]. The cannery processed pears, tomatoes, and apricots. Pears came from as far as Danville; tomatoes were a local crop.
The plant was purchased by the Betterpack Canning Company in 1920, and then by the K. Hovden Company in 1921.
