Anderson-Barngrover was created in 1902 as a merger of the Anderson Prune Dipper Company and the Barngrover-Hull Company. The merger settled a long-running patent dispute. Anderson-Barngrover was merged into the John Bean Manufacturing Company in 1928, and renamed the Food Machinery Corporation.
