Founders of the Contadina brand, and its large cannery on Moorpark Ave. in San Jose. The Aiello Brothers quickly sold to Hershel California in 1920, probably as a result of the post-World War I crash.
A similarly-named business opened in the 1930's, but research needs to be done to check if it was the same family.

Western Canner and Packer mentions the cannery is operating to capacity on tomato paste, the entire pack being contracted for by Antonio Morici, Chicago importer.
Contadina doesn't appear in 1920 city directory.
San Jose cannery became [Hershel California Fruit Products] in 1921, Aielllos appeared related to company through 1927, not listed as officers in 1930.
Gilroy plant built in 1931 - one story wood with gravel roof: [ "January 26, 1931 San Jose Evening News" 1931 Aiello Brothers might have been related to Joseph and Peter Aiello (Aiello and Aiello, fruit brokers) who might have been family, but not principals for Hershel California.
