Sacramento Packing Company was a Sacramento-based cannery run by Charles Harvey Bentley and R.I. Bentley. Robert Irving Bentley took over the cannery in 1890, with Charles joining him upon graduation[2]. The company was merged into the California Fruit Canners Association in 1900, then into the California Packing Corporation at its creation in 1916. The Bentley brothers became Del Monte executives[3].
