Willow Glen Fruit Growers Union
The Willow Glen Fruit Union was a grower's cooperative in the Willow Glen section of San Jose. The organization was founded in 1893 as the "Willow Glen Fruit Grower's Union". The Union was also one of the key members of the Santa Clara County Fruit Exchange. The organization served as a fruit collection site for the California Cured Fruit Assocation in 1900.
The president of the Union in 1898 was Jefferson Hall; George D. Gilman was the manager in 1900. Gilman became chief inspector for the California Cured Fruit Association in 1900 according to the July 26, 1900 Los Angeles Herald.
