Lua error: Internal error: The interpreter exited with status 126. The California Grape Food Company was a Los Gatos-based business which was selling grape syrup for table and medicinal purposes. The company was declared insolvent by 1894, sold by late 1894[1] and was sued by shareholders in 1895. According to news reports, the collapse was caused by agents in the east overspending on advertising and other costs[2].
