Bevins had also owned land in Menlo Park which was later bought to be part of Stanford University.
Listed in 1872 San Francisco directory as Printer with S.F. Cooperative Printing, dwelling at corner of Tyler and Webster. 1900 San Jose city directory only shows a William L. Bevins, letter carrier, residence Willow near Orchard.
