Summary
Probably a confused name for several different canneries. Flickinger's cannery in the Berryessa district was referred to as the orchard cannery", but the 1906 city directory also has a variant in a location that wouldn't make sense for Flickingers. A "1917 Western Canner and Packer":http://books.google.com/books?id=CS0dAQAAMAAJ&lpg=RA4-PA40&ots=D1Ar2H341c&dq=%22orchard%20canning%20company%22&pg=RA4-PA40#v=onepage&q=%22orchard%20canning%20company%22&f=false also mentions that Orchard Canning Company in Campbell was going to pack 100,000 cases of tomatoes that year. There's also an "L.D.
