San Leandro Canning Company was an Alameda County canner organized in 1920[1]. The company reincorporated in September 1920 to double the size of the plant[2]. The company canned cherries, apricots, pears, peaches, plums, grapes, spinach, asparagus, and tomatoes. The company was bought by H.G. Prince in 1922[3].
Stockholders apparently were displeased with the company's performance; the directors were sued in November 1923[4]:
