Earliest dried fruit packer in downtown Campbell. Buxton's Dryer had a huge drying yard near the Campbell railroad depot. The business was succeeded by the Campbell Fruit Growers Exchange cooperative in July 1892[1].

The Sunsweet Story[2] cites a story about his dryer and the mechnical marvels used in 1891.
