Isidor Jacobs was a cannery owner and businessman in San Francisco. Jacobs inherited A. Lusk & Company from his father, William Jacobs, and ran it and its successor, California Canneries at the beginning of the 20th century. Jacobs was also interested in promoting and improving business in San Francisco, and was responsible for arranging better shipping terms with the railroads and starting the India Terminal on San Francisco's waterfront[1].
