Courtland Canning Company was a San Francisco-based canner founded by Charles and Robert Irving Bentley in 1899[1], with Mark Fontana, William Fries, Sanford Goldstein, and W.C.B. de Fremery as directors. The Bentleys were already principals for the Sacramento Packing Company, and Fries and Fontana were owners of M. J. Fontana and Company. The company canned asparagus[2].

The company was merged into the California Fruit Canners Association in June 1899.
