The Alden Fruit and Vegetable Preserving Company was an early dried fruit packer formed in 1874[1] The company was founded by William Cozzens and several other orchardists[2]Cite error: Closing </ref> missing for <ref> tag[3]. The packer produced 15 tons of apricots the first year.
