Gustav H. Bradt (1869-1939) ("Gus") was a San Francisco businessman.
Bradt was born in Tenessee, and shows up in the 1900 census as a traveling salesman. He appears in California by 1910 had been the manager for Hunt Brothers Packing Company from 1915-1918. When Joseph H. Hunt retired and the business changed hands, Bradt broke off on his own with A. M. Beebe and started the wholesale brokerage Bradt & Beebe[1]. In 1922, Bradt accepted an offer to buy Julius Landsberger's controlling interest in Hunt's, and with the help of E. B. Deming of Deming and Gould of Chicago, took ownership of Hunts and also bought Washington fish canneries which became the Pacific Northwest Canning Company[2].
