Dried Fruit Packer,Cooperative

Independent cooperative. Peach Growers association formed in 1916, Fig Growers in 1918, merged in August 1925. Laid low by depression. Also problems that most dried fig growers worked with packers directly. Merged into California Prune and Apricot Growers in October 1932. CP&AG bought dried fig plants in Fresno, Reedley, Kingsburg, and Dinuba.
