Stephen Zicovich was a dried fruit packer; his name appeared in turn-of-the-century city directories[1]. He also probably operated the Zicovich Winery.
Zicovich himself was a Yugoslav immigrant, born in 1854. He was still alive in 1940[2][3]. Zicovich died in 1942[4].
