Lua error: Internal error: The interpreter exited with status 126. Sunlight Packing Company was a San Jose-based canner. The company's principals were D. L. Smith, George Frank, and W.T. Rambo[1]. The company was George Frank's new venture after selling his dried fruit business to California Prune and Apricot Growers.
The Sunlight may actually be the same business as Smith-Frank Packing, George Frank's post-Sunsweet venture, which was described as having a cannery in San Jose and offices in San Jose. See George Frank and Company for more.
The company was building a new fruit and vegetable cannery in San Jose in 1918[2]
The company was still in existence in 1921[3].
