Building a new fruit and vegetable cannery in San Jose in 1918, according to July 1918 Western Canner and Packer In existence in 1921 according to Santa. Clara County History from 1922.

Principals were D. L. Smith, George Frank, and W.T. Rambo according to article in June 15, 1918 California Fruit News The article notes that the new company was George Frank's new venture after selling his dried fruit business to California Prune and Apricot Growers. May be the same business as Smith-Frank Packing, George Frank's post-Sunsweet venture, which was described as having a cannery in San Jose and offices in San Jose.
